Marcus Williams spent 15 years inside Canadian independent schools before joining NextSchool as a school selection advisor. He served as Head of Admissions at two CAIS-accredited schools in Vancouver and Toronto, personally guiding over 3,000 families through the admissions process. As a trained CAIS school evaluator, Marcus has conducted accreditation reviews at independent schools across four provinces, giving him an unusually broad view of what distinguishes a great school from a good one. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from UBC, where he studied parent decision-making in school choice.
