Ashbury College

Ashbury is committed to fostering inclusivity and embracing pluralism. In summer 2020, the school launched a pluralism project involving over 80 students, staff, alumni, parents, and board members working on five design teams to ensure an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment. The school acknowledges its campus is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Anishinàbe Omàmìwininì Algonquin Nation and is committed to increasing awareness of Indigenous peoples, advancing Truth and Reconciliation, and developing meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities. This work supports Ashbury's strategic goal of fostering an inclusive school community that builds on the strength of its diversity.

The Ashbury Parents' Guild serves as the primary vehicle for parent engagement, with an executive leadership team and active membership focused on organizing events and initiatives that build community and raise support for the school. The Guild's mandate is to promote connections among members of the Ashbury community and create sustained parent involvement. Beyond the Guild, parents are represented on the Board of Governors and Foundation Board, though specific volunteer opportunities and communication channels are not prominently detailed on the website.
