Community & Culture

Chesterton Academy cultivates a joyful, intellectually rigorous Catholic community grounded in classical education. Students engage with foundational texts from Homer to G.K. Chesterton, with history, literature, philosophy, and theology woven together. The school emphasizes the arts equally with academics—every student learns to draw, paint, sing in choir, act, debate, and give speeches. The House system, modeled on Oxford and Cambridge traditions, organizes students into four communities named after saints, fostering real leadership and virtue development. By senior year, students are described as articulate, clear-thinking, well-rounded, and joyful individuals.
